Special Issue on Network in Box (NIB), Architecture, Networking and Applications
截稿日期: 彩神8官方版-06-14

Network in Box (NIB) is a portable and self-organizing device which provides seamless connectivity to a group of mobile users, offering services such as text messages, calls, and internet connectivity. NIB enables portable and rapid deployment of communication infrastructure with no additional overhead for internet access. NIB expanding its network coverage in various environments such as terrestrial, in-flight and in sea. Since, NIB is portable it is applicable for disasters management such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and terrorist attacks which triggers a sudden need for network connectivity. Further, the application can be extended for remote operations, military deployments, NIB can also be used as an enterprises and in public services. Further, it provides controlled and secured services through wireless communication medium by preventing the Interferences and providing continuous broadcast. Therefore, Network in Box (NIB) offers Speed in deployment, reliability in solution and flexibility to adjust any circumstances. The ubiquitous NIB architecture requires well-coordinated and scalable infrastructure with self-optimizing capabilities. The basic structure of NIB includes Evolved Packet Core (EPC) which is the core of the NIB architecture, followed by content server which offers internet connectivity and optional IMS server for additional VoIP and PTT applications. Further, the networking of NIB may force it beyond 4G and 5G, which results in 6G network. The 6G communication offers better spectrum efficiency with the integration of satellite broadcastings through specially designed Nano Antennas results in fast internet globally, with wireless speeds up to 11Gbps. Further, artificial intelligence is predicted to play a big part in self-learning, autonomous NIB networks that will negotiate the bandwidth they need for specific applications. Moreover the integration 6G services with Network in Box would pave way for network administration in all working form such a single, all-outdoor and extremely compact unit. In summary, the fundamental objective is to offer easy-to-use, fast deployable networks, addressing the needs during emergency and providing a provision of immediate network coverage when required. This special issue aims to bring together state-of-the-art research contributions that describe original and unpublished work addressing Network on Box applications and offers services within the 6G context. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: 6G enabled NIB architecture for Peer to Peer networks Functional self-healing, self-optimizing and self-configuring network. Advance automation and remote monitoring for NIB in Peer to Peer networks Interoperability and service provisioning using 6G Renewable power source and configuration for NIB using Peer to Peer networks Battery and Power Supply for 6G enabled NIB in Peer to Peer networks NIB to NIB networking and Parallel Wireless Network NIB has an Emergency Backpack for disaster management through Peer to Peer networks Agile Integration of NIB Into Existing Networks Adhoc Remote Network architecture for 6G enabled NIB. Special Issue on Advances in Privacy-Preserving Computing
截稿日期: 彩神8官方版-07-30

Aim and Scope The development of technologies in cloud computing, Internet of Things, big data processing, and 5G enables service providers to efficiently and effectively process diverse and massive data and in turn provide users with more diversified and personalized services. However, in the process of data collection, a large number of private data such as a user's identity, a user’s location at different times, and even a user’s personal medical information is often required. Therefore, more and more people are concerned about the issue of the disclosure of their personal data. In order to solve this problem, the privacy-preserving computing has become an important research hotspot. However, there is a contradiction between the utility of data and privacy preservation. How to address this contradiction and to make an effective compromise between the two aspects has been the primary concern of researchers from industries and academia. Various cryptographic technologies and security mechanisms have been introduced to provide feasible solutions. This special issue focuses on the research challenges and issues in privacy-preserving computing. We invite submissions of technical papers that address, but are not limited to, the following topics: - Privacy-preserving machine learning - Privacy-preserving multimedia data processing - Privacy-preserving social media and social network analytic - Data privacy protection in crowdsourcing - Privacy computing based on block chain - Outsourced encrypted database - Security and privacy in location-based services - Privacy-preserving data aggregation in capability-constrained scenarios - Privacy protection in distributed data mining - Privacy in ubiquitous computing and mobile devices - Secure computation in Internet of Things - Security and privacy for big data processing - Trust, security and privacy issues in edge data analytic - Applied cryptography in privacy computing, such as differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, trusted computing Paper Submission Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality, original work that has neither appeared in, nor is under consideration by, other journals.
